Rabbit Hole a play by David Lindsay-Abaire is a play about three family members and how they are coping with the death of a child.

Upstage and visible through the entire production, this is a picture of Danny's room.  The script called for robot sheets, so I bought fabric and made the sheets to match the bedspread I found at a thrift store.

The director and I also found the furniture piece under the window in one of the theatre apartments and purchased the fabric for the window.  The stereo is plastic and came from a props.com and was  in our storage.

The living room facing the kitchen has furniture that the designer and I found in the theatre apartments as well as pulled from prop storage.  I made the pillows on the sofa and chair.

The kitchen is full of set dressing for the counters as well as the cupboards.  The refrigerator is also full of set dressing.  The childrens clothing and furniture I purchased from a thrift store.  The appliances were loaned to us by a local store.

Budget is alway a concern to any theatre.  The television was free from a thrift store.  There was a sign on it that said it didn't work and they let me just cart it off.  The stand that it is sitting on was also free...I found it sitting in front of the dumpster at my apartment and epoxied one of the caster back on.
