I painted Mae West in black and white then added pink and yellow tints over the top.
The effect was like a tinted photograph. I painted her 4' by 4' on a canvas I stretched.

The figure below is made from 1/4" luaun and is braced on the back with
1 x 4's and a jack stand. I cut out the figure
as well as painted it.
